Thursday

We had another great day at school. In Language Arts, we continued to read about Jimmy and Ryan and the well in Africa and talked about connections we could make between our lives and theirs. In Math, we did a check up on line graphs and started our new unit with a discussion about motion geometry. We had music this morning as well. In French, we discussed and worked on entertainment documents and also did some silent reading. We finished the day with Art where we are learning to draw and paint a winter cardinal scene. We all showed excellent behavior today so we earned 15 minutes of time at the end of the day to play games, lego or draw!

1. Read 20 minutes

2. Book order due Jan. 12

3. Gym tomorrow

4. Science - record electricity you use in a day by Monday
