Monday

Wow! It's February already! We had another busy day at school. In Language Arts, we did a review of dialogue conventions and then worked on reading and writing activities in centers. Some more of us worked on and finished our persuasive essays and we are learning to be pretty convincing! Watch out, Mom and Dad! In Math, we finished up our checkup on motion geometry and started a new unit on ratio. We used some picture task cards and the mini-white boards for practice today. In Social Studies we continued to talk about migration and in Health we read a story called "Zero" all about having value as individual people. We also had gym and music which makes for a fun day. We are excited that we now will be getting a new gym period on day 4 in the afternoon. We are hoping that it will be starting tomorrow!
