Tuesday

We had another busy day at school. It was nice to see so many people dressed in school colors. Tomorrow we will be doing a sharing shuffle. We are paired with a kindergarten class so today we made bookmarks for them as they are just learning to read. Tomorrow we get to deliver them. In Daily 5, we worked in a variety of centers. In Math, we are learning to find a percentage of a number. We learned strategies today for finding 50%, 25%, 75%, 10% and percentages that are multiples of 10. We had some silent reading time and art as well today. In Art, we worked on translation tessellations.
