Wednesday

We had another good and busy day in school. We had math and continued working on improper fractions and mixed numbers by playing a game in small groups. We also had music this morning. In Language Arts, we listened to a song called Don't Laugh At Me which was a great song for anti-bullying day. We then did some listening comprehension questions on the book as an assessment activity. In French, we started a new unit on Winter Festivals. This afternoon, we had science and continued learning about electricity. Today our focus was on how electricity is produced. In Religion, we finished up cards that we had started for a little girl named Nevaeh who is battling cancer.

4. PD Day Friday - no school

5. Memo re musical performance next week went home with the youngest/only children

6. Skating permission form

7. Sliding day is cancelled for tomorrow - not enough snow!
