Monday

We had a great day at school. We were excited that the sun was shining and the temperature was warm enough that we could go outside for lunch play. It was nice to be able to run around!

In Language Arts, we did a mini-lesson to review the irregular past tense of verbs and then worked in Daily 5 groups. Some people did reading and others did writing. In Math, we continued to work on improper fractions. In Health, we continued our discussion about helping other people see their value and we worked on creating a display of how we can help each other "soar". This afternoon, some of us had book club. We also had science and religion before ending our day with gym. In Science we compared electromagnets and generators and in religion we read a story about how other people can guide us and help us find our way.
