We had another busy but good day at school. In Language Arts, we are continuing our inferring strategy unit with a read aloud called Iqbal. It is about a little boy and girl who are child laborers in Pakistan. We are finding it really interesting how different their lives are than ours. We then broke up and did Daily 5 group work. In Math, we are continuing to work on improper fractions and mixed numbers. In French we finished our posters about activities during winter carnivals. In Science, we talked about household items that use electricity and then ended the day with Buddy Reading, Art and Gym.
