Thursday

We had another busy day at school. This morning, we reviewed vocab for our new French unit and then we had gym. We were lucky to get to play outside before it got too foggy. We then had math and we worked on using number lines to help us convert mixed numbers to improper fractions. After recess, we continued our Iqbal read aloud in language arts and then worked in Daily 5 groups. In religion, we read a story called The Healing Circle which talked about how we can come together to help other people heal their relationships and settle disputes. After lunch we had library and some silent reading time to read our new books. We also did Social Studies and continued to add to our culture quest journal and finished the day with Health where we are starting a new unit about our bodies.
