Monday

We had another busy day at school. In Language Arts, we did a lesson on how to quote from a text and then how to elaborate on that quote with our own ideas. We then worked in groups on different reading, writing and listening activities. In Math, we continued to practice dividing decimal numbers and looked at base 10 blocks as a strategy to use. In Religion, we talked about wonders of creation and looked at pictures and information of the 7 natural wonders of the world. We have to choose something that we think is a wonder of creation for tomorrow so we can represent it in a drawing, painting or piece of writing. After lunch we had library, Social Studies and Health. In Social Studies, we talked about how the environment influences culture and in Health, we worked on the nervous system. We also had gym outside today and lunch play was outside as well.
