Monday

We had a busy day at school. In Language Arts, we began our procedural writing piece by selecting our topics and then did some Daily 5 center work. In Math, we worked on finding the perimeter of triangles, rectangles, squares and other polygons by using formulas. In French, we finished our unit with a carnival wordsearch and a tutorial of how to draw the Bonhomme who is the mascot for the Quebec carnival. This afternoon, we had science, Buddy Reading, Silent reading and Gym. It was such a warm day and we were glad to get outside for lunch play and gym.
